How do I register on Gearrilla?
Sign in under Log In with your email address and a secure password. Then you will get an email with a link to confirm the registration. Click on this and your registration is complete. Now you can get started and complete your profile.
Does the registration cost me anything?
No, registration with Gearrilla is free for you.
How do I find the right gear for me?
Search for an item by entering a search term and selecting the desired period and place.

How do I rent an item?
If you found a suitable item it is time to register at Gearrilla. Only then you can complete your booking. You can review your booking under My orders in your account.
How do I get the item I have booked?
If you have booked an item, there are two ways the equipment comes to you:
You will pick it up directly at the lender
If the lender has released it for shipping, you can have it sent to you as an alternative.
Who bears the shipping costs?
If you like to have the booked item sent, the lender bears the shipping cost. You will be responsible for the cost of the return shipment.
What happens if the rented item has been damaged or stolen during the rental period?
You will be responsible for the item during the rental period. If this is now broken or stolen, you bear the costs for the repair or have to reimburse the lender the time value of this item. It is possible that such damages are covered by private liability insurance. We recommend to check this with your insurance company before booking. If you are not able to pay the damage, Gearrilla jumps in – The Gearrilla-Guarantee. However, we reserve the right to take legal steps against you.
What happens if I have had an accident with the rented item and was injured?
You are obligated to check the item before use. You will be responsible for the item during the rental period and you bear the full risk for its use. Legal regulations apply.
How do I contact the lender?
If you have found an item that interests you, but you still have questions about the item, you can contact the lender directly at the item page by email.
What if I want to cancel the booked item?
You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 4 weeks before start of the rental period. Until 1 week before the start of the rental period, you have to pay 50 % of the rental fee and within 1 week before 100 %.
To cancel the booked item, just write us an e-mail to email@example.com or contact us under contact us on our homepage.
When will I pay for the booked item?
You pay the item directly after booking by PayPal. If there are any problems and you do not get the item you have the possibility to contact us for 5 days after the start of the rental period and you get your money back.
